LEO LIN Partners with the McGrath Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October, LEO LIN proudly joins forces with the McGrath Foundation to raise awareness and support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As the most diagnosed cancer among women in Australia, breast cancer impacts over 20,000 people each year. The McGrath Foundation plays a vital role in ensuring no one faces this battle alone by providing the dedicated care of breast care nurses. These nurses offer essential support, guiding individuals through their treatment and helping them navigate the emotional and physical challenges that come with a breast cancer diagnosis.

In support of this mission, LEO LIN recently hosted a special educational workshop and morning tea featuring Tracey Bevan, Ambassador and Director of the McGrath Foundation. The session underscored the life-saving importance of early detection, regular self-checks, and the invaluable role breast care nurses play in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

This October, we encourage our community to take action by remembering to "Look, Feel & Learn" – a simple yet powerful reminder to perform regular self-examinations and stay proactive about breast health.
