Haider Ackermann Takes the Helm as Tom Ford's New Creative Director

Haider Ackermann has been appointed as the new creative director of Tom Ford, succeeding Peter Hawking, who recently stepped down from the position.

Known for his luxurious and celebrity-favored designs, Ackermann will now lead the brand’s creative direction across all fashion categories, including menswear, womenswear, accessories, and eyewear.

“I have long been a great fan of Haider’s work,” said founder Tom Ford. “I find both his womenswear and menswear equally compelling. He is an incredible colourist, his tailoring is sharp, and above all, he is modern.”

Ackermann expressed his honor in taking on the role, saying, “It is with tremendous pride that I will seek to honour the legacy of Tom Ford, a man I have long admired and have the utmost respect for. I am much looking forward to what lies ahead.”

Operating from Paris, Ackermann will report directly to Guillaume Jesel of Estée Lauder and Lelio Gavazza of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. His first collection will debut at Paris Fashion Week next year.
