National Indigenous Fashion Awards 2024

The National Indigenous Fashion Awards provides a vibrant and exciting platform to celebrate the innovation, diversity and ethical practices of Australia’s First Nations peoples in fashion and textiles, whilst contributing to the capacity building of the sector.

Presented by the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) Foundation’s Indigenous Fashion Projects (IFP), the NIFA recognises and showcases excellence across seven award categories, providing a unique opportunity for the Australian and international fashion community to connect to the world’s oldest living cultures.

The NIFA 2024 ceremony took place Wednesday, 7 August 2024, under the stars on Larrakia Country at the Deckchair Cinema in Darwin. The night was hosted by Megan Waters, wearing beautiful Miimi & Jiinda.
